Qāriʾ
A Qari (lit. 'reader', Arabic: قَارِئ, plural قَارِئُونَ qāriʾūn, قُرَّاء qurrāʾ or قَرَأَة qaraʾah) is a person who recites the Quran with the proper rules of recitation (tajwid).
